For a number of years now, Mr J and Mr Rotherham have had a constant argument about which subject is better: Maths  English
Despite his very best attempts, Mr R is yet to convince anyone that English is anywhere close to competing with Maths. Simply put: Maths is life.
To prove my point, here are a few of my favourite (and possibly slightly awkward) maths jokes… Mr J would love to hear which one was your favourite, or even better, if you have any jokes about Maths or English of your own.
What do you call a number that can’t stay in one place?
A Roamin’ numeral.
What do you call the number 7 and the number 3 when they go out on a date?
The odd couple.
How do you stay warm in any room?
Just huddle in the corner, where it’s always 90 degrees.
There are three kinds of people in the world:
Those who can count and those who can’t.
How can you tell a maths plant apart from other plants?
Because it has square roots.
Why should you never trust a teacher with graph paper in their hand?
They must be plotting something.
And save the best till last…
Mr J’s personal favourite! Mr J would love the hear your thoughts about which is your favourite joke, why maths is obviously
Take Care,
Mr J
