Tie dye t-shirts.

In the summer term, the children are given the opportunity to tie dye a t-shirt as part of their DT project in the last few weeks of Year 6. We are planning to do the same project this year and need them to bring in a white t-shirt by next Monday (5th July) so that they can stand in quarantine before we use them.

Please ensure your child’s name is written clearly on the label.

Year 6 photo competition

Just a gentle reminder to anyone who hasn’t yet sent in their Chetwynd photo entry, please send them to the class teacher by Wednesday 16th June for them to be entered into the competition.

Reminder about swimming

We hope you have had a great half term.

Just a reminder – Year 6 are swimming Monday this week and next and not on Tuesday, so remember your kits in the morning.

Burton Borough Transition

Parental pen portrait

Burton Borough have asked if parents can complete the attached for their child then they would be very grateful.

You can send it directly to Mrs Pickering at  main.bbs@taw.org.uk or post/drop it into Burton Borough for her attention. You can also bring it to NJS if you prefer and we will arrange to pass them on.

England does the Daily Mile

Our school will be taking part in the   England does The Daily Mile on Friday 30th April.

Each bubble will be timetabled to run at a certain time of the day. As it will be a long run it will be easier for the children to be in the correct footwear, therefore,   your child/children come into school in their trainersfor the day.
