Music in 4OP!

This morning, we went into the hall to use the musical instruments to create a soundscape. We’ve looked at many elements to music including the orchestra and instruments we may see in one. The challenge we had was to create a soundscape inspired by a piece of art.

What an amazing job all of the groups did! The team work and listening was exceptional and I was very proud of them all for being so creative.

Friday 22nd December- PTA Mufti Day

Children are asked to wear mufti on Friday and donate £1 to PTA funds.

This could be Christmas Jumpers again, if they wish!

CHRISTMAS DINNER REMINDER

Christmas Dinner!

 

Tuesday 19th December: Year 4

Wednesday 20th December: Year 5

Thursday 21st December: Year 6

A traditional Christmas dinner will be served by our catering team on the above dates.  Payment can be made in the usual way by ParentPay.

On your child’s Christmas Dinner day they may wear a festive jumper instead of their usual green school jumper, all other uniform should be worn as usual.

On the dates your child is not having their Christmas dinner the alternative offered will be Grab & Go and the usual offer with this of a ham, cheese, tuna or egg sandwich, wrap or baguette.

Of course if your child does not wish to have a Christmas dinner or Grab&Go they can bring their packed lunch and will be included in the festivities!

PLEASE ENSURE ORDERS ARE PLACED ON ORDER FORMS BY THURSDAY 14th DECEMBER or email njs.admin@taw.org.uk with your order.

REMINDER: Church Service Thursday…

We have a whole school church service on Thursday 21st December.  Please can children be dropped at St Nicholas’ Church between 8.30am and 9am.

Unfortunately parents/carers are unable to attend this service due to capacity.

Please note: If your child attends High Five for breakfast club that day provision is made for NJS staff to bring the children to church.
