Sun Cream!

If the lovely weather continues please can we remind you to send children to school with sun hats and sun cream.  Staff cannot apply sun cream for children therefore we recommend you discuss with your child how and when to apply it.

Please remember water bottles too!

Year 6 PE

There are a high number of children in Year 6 not bringing their PE kits into school. Can all Year 6 children remember to bring their kits in on a Monday and leave in school all week please? When the weather is nice we can take advantage and be outside at alternative times.

Thank you for your support!

Y6 homework due 3rd July

Year 6 are only being asked to record their reading this week. Please encourage your child to read as much as possible and record their reading in their reading record.

Y6 trip to Crucial Crew

Children are coming home tonight with a letter regarding Crucial Crew. Crucial Crew is an event organised between Telford and Wrekin and all the emergency services. Children learn how to respond to scenarios and learn how to make informed decisions about safety.

The event is held at TCAT. This will take place on the 11th of July.

Please read the letter for more details or speak to a member of the Year 6 team.

Please return slips as soon as possible. The deadline for slips is Friday 5th July.

Thank you for your support!

HOMEWORK!

This week the children have NO spellings! They will need to read to an adult at least 3 times and complete their TTRS homework.

Alongside this, we are asking the children to complete a task about their year 4 memories. They can present their memories however they would like. For example: a poster, a recount, a powerpoint or a written explanation.

The memories task is due in Monday 1st or Tuesday 2nd of July.

TTRS will go online Monday and will be due by Friday – this task is an online task not written.
