Money into School

We have had a couple of envelopes of money into school that are not labelled with a child’s name.  Please can we remind you all to ensure that any envelopes sent into school are clearly labelled with the child’s name, class and quantity and purpose for the money.

Thank you for your support.

Congratulations Mrs Jukes!

We are delighted with the news that Mrs Jukes has had a baby girl!  Florence Amelia Rose was born today weighing 8lb.  Everyone at NJS sends their congratulations to Mr and Mrs Jukes.

Year 3 Week 6

COATS REMINDER!

As winter is approaching and the weather is more inclement, please ensure that your child comes to school with a coat, every day, even when the forecast is good.

We often allow children outside when there is light rain during break times, going in when the weather worsens.

Thank you for your support!

Y6 spellings due 17th October

Due to the changes in the Literacy curriculum children in Year 6 are expected to be secure with all KS2 spellings. There will be no choice of spellings, in terms of degree of difficulty. All children, of all abilities, need to learn the following for next week:

actually extreme
certain height
history imagine
increase island
important accident

Please support your child to ensure spellings are recorded as accurately as possible in their homework books and they present their homework to a high standard. Also, there are no proper nouns, therefore there is no need for capitals apart from sentence work.
