Yr. 4 Residential Visit to: Manor Adventure – Culmington Manor, Craven Arms.

Dear Parents/Carers of Year 4 Pupils

At Newport Junior School, we are very proud of the residential opportunities we offer all our children. They need commitment from our staff and parents to enable these invaluable experiences to take place

Following the success of previous year’s year 4 trip to Manor Adventure, we have provisionally booked places for our year 4 pupils from 4-6th April 2021.  The cost of the trip will be £190.

We appreciate that for many of you, that this will be the first-time you child has been away from home and you may be unaware of what that trip involves.  We have arranged a presentation/meeting to inform you about the trip and give you an opportunity to ask some questions.

We will be holding the meeting on Tuesday 5th October at 3.30pm in the school hall.

If you wish to attend so I can gage numbers, please let me know by emailing me on ben.moody@taw.org.uk

At this meeting Mrs Green/Mrs Stanley will also be accepting a deposit/first payment of £60 which will ensure your child has a place. Places are limited on this residential, but as ever I will do all I can to include any of the children wishing to attend.

Kindest regards,

Mr B Moody

Year 4 Homework

Dear Parents & Guardians,

We hope you have all had a wonderful summer break & we would like to welcome all of the children back to school.  The children have had a fabulous first week back. We would like to let you know that the year 4 children will be bringing home their homework this evening. The homework that we set will need to be returned on Monday the 18th of October.  We would also like to remind all children to bring their P.E. Kits into school every Monday & swimming will begin after October half term. Have a wonderful weekend.

Kindest regards the year 4 team 😁

BAG REMINDER!

Good afternoon everyone,

Tomorrow (Friday 16th July) the children will be coming home with any old books from year 4. Please can we remind you that they will need a carrier bag (a bag for life etc) to take these home. We really appreciate all the bags that have already been brought into school in preparation for this!

Many thanks,

The Year 4 Team 🙂

OLD BOOKS MESSAGE!

Good morning year 4,

On Friday 16th July, the children will be bringing home any old books that they currently have in school. We are asking if the children could bring in a bag for life (or strong carrier bag) with them so they can take these home.

If they could bring the bag in before Friday then this will ensure they have one ready! Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide children with a bag.

Thank you!

The Year 4 Team 🙂

Year 4 UPDATE!

Following the previous message, swimming is cancelled tomorrow (Thursday 1st July) due to staff absence.

Children are still welcome to come into school in P.E kits as mentioned in the last message.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

The year 4 team 🙂

Year 4 SPORTS DAY!

The children are very excited for sports day tomorrow! Just a few reminders…

The children will be swimming at some point during the day so will need to bring swimming kits as usual.

The children can come into school in P.E kits ready for their sports day session!

Thank you!

The Year 4 Team 🙂

Wrekin Forest School Trip – Tuesday 29th June

Good Afternoon Year 4 !!!

Here are some photos of our fab trip to Wrekin Forest School today. We have just had the best time 🙂 It was great to see the children exploring the outdoor environment and enjoying time with their peers.

I am sure you will have some very tired, muddy children tonight 🙂
