Black History Month

6J have been recognising black history month this week and during today’s lesson we looked at some the coded language which would’ve been used by slaves trying to organise an escape. We had a go at creating our own coded messages. See if you can crack the 6J coded sentence.

Y5 and 6 Rounders Competition 20.6.17

imageA big congratulations to the 15 super rounders players who took part in the tournament at Charlton school on Tuesday! It was a very hot day in the sun but despite the heat the children played brilliantly, finishing 4th in our pool. Well done, team! Thank you very much to parents who helped out with transport.
