Safer Internet Day 2022 and NJS Online Safety Newsletter(s)

Please find attached the SID 2022 special edition newsletter, containing links for parents to get involved, and of course some great resource sites for getting the conversation going, exploring online safety and advice for your children. This year, Safer Internet Day 2022 (SID 2022) is on Tuesday 8th February, with the theme, ‘All Fun and Games? Exploring respect and relationships online.’ Children will be involved in an assembly on Wednesday this week, exploring the above, and will complete some discussions and work on this extremely relevant topic. I would strongly encourage you to discuss with your child what they learned about this, towards the end of the week.

Children’s Mental Health Week

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week. The wellbeing of all members of our NJS family is at the heart of our school. Understanding ‘what is my mental health?‘ is vital for looking after our wellbeing. This week, these slides will be shared with children. They will be having discussions with staff and completing a piece of work following this.

Why not use this to open up a conversation at home this week about wellbeing with your children?
