Esme and Piper visited London over the weekend, saw the queue and sent these photos. The visit was fab, and they learned a great deal about the events of the day:

NSPCC PANTS Campaign

Year 3 Monday 12th reminders!
Just a quick reminder!
All year 3 children need a swimming kit with swimming cap for their swimming lesson on Monday.
3L need to come dressed in clothes that can get muddy ready for Beech’s Base with wellies/muddy shoes in a spare bag to change into.

Year 3 Parents/Carers drop off and collection
We hope your children have enjoyed their first two days at NJS: they have been great.
*At drop off and collection it helps to ease congestion if you come through the security gate and out through the side gate by Mrs Pearson’s classroom.
*We appreciate for the first day or two you may want to come into school in the morning to help your child to settle. Please can we ask that parents/carers now refrain from coming into school as our corridors get very congested. There will be staff outside to greet the children and take any messages and staff inside to support the children to unpack. 3L and 3B can go straight into their classroom doors and 3P can go straight into the accessible door on the side of the block (they can press the push pad to open this door).

South Asian Heritage Month
July marks the start of South Asian Heritage Month. This celebrates the culture, history and difference made by the 3 million people in the UK with South Asian heritage. Children have discussed and learnt about this in school, with a particular focus on the 2 NJS Courageous Advocates who come from South Asian countries. 3P Beech’s Base Tomorrow….
Please remember 3P are at Beech’s Base tomorrow….
Please wear your old clothes! We are aware the temperatures are warm at the moment: if you want to send your child in shorts and t shirt this is fine.
However please also send in a bag their wellies, long trousers and long sleeved top so that they can pop these on if required for certain activities.
To reassure you it is cooler under the trees: we all want to be down there at the moment!
