Wear your SCARF this Friday!

To mark the end of Children’s Mental Health Week, this Friday (13th February) we invite everyone to wear a scarf.

SCARF represents our values for children of SafetyCaringAchievementResilience and Friendship.

We are dedicating our SCARF DAY to our loved and missed Mrs Green. All who knew her knew of her extensive scarf collection! Mrs Green demonstrated the SCARF values in every area of her life, so we will especially remember her today.

(There is no charge and scarves can be worn with usual uniform.)

Safer Internet Day 2026 in the Bungalow!

The Bungalow joined in with the live lesson for Safer Internet Day today! After we had answered some of the questions from the live lesson we then talked about the things humans could do and things ‘Alexa’ could do.

Safer internet in year 5

We joined the BBC live lesson for safer internet day. The children learnt about AI and how it is used.

Avenue Road and St Nicholas’ Park

This morning I have received complaints from residents regarding parents parking inappropriately on Avenue Road and St Nicholas’ Park at drop off and collection times for NJS.

Please can I remind families that if you do need to drive to school we ask you use local car parks such as Shuker Field and walk from there.

Thank you for your support in showing respect for our neighbours and for keeping our roads safe.

Yr 6 Swimming Message

Unfortunately, due to on-going maintenance on our swimming pool Yr 6 will not be swimming tomorrow.

We hope this will be sorted quickly and we look forward to swimming again soon.
