Due to staffing absence within the team that run the Chetwynd Deer Park competition, our visit for the photography workshop has now been moved to Wednesday 5th June. All other information for the visit will remain in place.
Please note that mobile phones will not be allowed on this visit. If, for any reason, you are unable to provide a camera, then your child will be given a school iPad which they can use for their session and the images will be downloaded on their return to school.
If you have any further questions, please speak to your child’s class teacher who will be happy to help.
Just a reminder that next Friday (24th May) the children are invited to come into school in mufti for £1.
This is all to help buy some new instruments! Please see the attached poster!
We are delighted the pool has reopened!
Monday: Year 5
Tuesday: Year 4
This week children are continuing to learn about why movement is important when looking after our mental health. Tomorrow afternoon all children will be taking part in a “move-nic” where they will complete a chosen movement-based activity to support their mental health and wellbeing.
A reminder that on Friday 24th May, Yr 6 will be visiting Chetwynd Deer Park for our Photography Workshop.
6K and half of 6J will be leaving straight after registration and returning to school for 12.30pm to eat lunch. 6B and the remaining half of 6J will leave school at 12.30pm after having lunch at 12pm at school.
Children are asked to bring a camera with them, however if this is not possible, there is the possibility to lend children an iPad from school, however these numbers are limited. If you are not able to provide a camera for your child, please contact your child’s class teacher who will make arrangements for an iPad.
All children will then need to enter their favourite photograph for competition. Please can these be sent via email to: max.jones9@taw.org.uk stating the child’s name.
The letter containing more information is attached for your reading.
Please can I remind families that holidays in term time are not advised and can result in a fine from the Local Authority.
If you are planning on a term time holiday please collect a ‘Leave Request Form’ from the School Office or email njs.admin@taw.org.uk to request one be sent home.
Just a reminder that we finish for half term next Friday!
Monday 3rd June is a PD day so children will return to school on Tuesday 4th June.
