Reminder for Cosy Hall visit

Polite reminder of our first Beliefs and Values curriculum visit this Friday (5th June) to Cosy Hall and the link on parentpay to give permission.
Thank you to everyone who has already given permission on parentpay for the Mosque trip, which also includes this visit and the police talk in school next week.
We have been very lucky this year to be able to offer these visits across school to further the children’s understanding of world faiths and the society they are growing up in.

Alton Towers

Just a reminder of the arrangements for tomorrow:

Alton Towers letter 2026

Please ensure the children have their packed lunch and are in school for 8.30am.  We will confirm our return time on Facebook.

The weather looks changeable tomorrow so please ensure children have suncream and waterproofs with them!  It is likely we will see some showers so please do ensure they are dressed appropriately and prepared with extra layers.

Lost Property inc Coats!

Thank you to Mrs Morris and her daughter, who kindly sorted out lost property today! Apart from numerous jumpers and cardigans which weren’t named – they have found a number of more valuable items that need returning to their owners! If you recognise and are missing any of the items pictured below, then please speak to the school office!!

Year 3 Library Visit

Year 3 had a wonderful visit to the town library yesterday. They learned all about how to join the library, they heard all about the Summer Reading Challenge and they had a story with Kirsty.

Thank you to the Newport Library staff and for Mrs Breen for organising our visit.

Year 6 weekly planner for week 1
