Year 3 Update

Year 3 Parents and Carers,

I am emailing to advise you that a Year 3 pupil has tested positive for COVID.

It is the role of Track and Trace to identify and communicate with contacts rather than the school.

If you are contacted by Track and Trace you will be advised to take your child for a PCR test. In this situation, unless symptomatic, your child can attend for school whilst they await a result.

Please can you all be vigilant for symptoms in your children and if they become unwell book a test and advise the office on 01952 386600 that your child will remain at home whilst they await a result.

Thank you all for your support.

Best wishes

Mrs Moody

Beech’s Base – Message for 3B

Good Evening 🙂

As we have school photos on Wednesday, please could children arrive in school in their uniforms. The children will have their school photos taken and then change into their outdoor clothes after.

A reminder of what they need to bring is below:

  • Old clothing (Even if the forecast is looking warm children need to wear trousers and long sleeved tops to ensure they have a layer of protection from brambles and nettles, likewise layers to wrap up if it is cold please)
  • Suitable waterproof clothing if the weather is wet.
  • Optional waterproof trousers or all in one for water fun.

Children will need to bring in a separate named carrier bag with:

  • Wellies/Outdoor Footwear
  • Clothing to change into after their session or uniform can be worn.

Thank you for being patient, I can’t wait to get the children over to Beech’s Base and get stuck in! Further information will be communicated with dates for when other classes will visit.

If you have any questions please email me: jeni.kuczynska@taw.org.uk

Year 3 Books Home on Thurs/Friday this week!

Dear Parents,

Please could you send your children in with a ‘bag for life’/strong plastic bag, to carry books and other work home in?

We will be sorting out books tomorrow and Friday to go home.

Kind regards,

Year 3 Homework project success

Emily has worked really hard to produce these brilliant Olympic Games events in her Minecraft world. She produced the Olympic rings, some running, swimming and archery and the stands. Well done Emily!

Also, well done to all those children who produced some Olympic art work, fact files, and games.
