Dear Parents and Carers,
Homework for Spring 2nd half 2024
Apologies for the lateness of this post – please try to complete as much as you can, over the next couple of weeks, leading up to Easter. Please can children complete any work in the Homework book they have been provided with.
If children would like to take some time over Easter to complete the short foundation project on Greta Thunberg, this is okay, however, any work completed before Easter and by the deadline of the end of Spring term will be awarded bonus house points!
Thank you for your continued support,
The Year 3 Team.
Your child’s school is working on a project with us at Telford & Wrekin Educational Psychology Service, promoting emotional wellbeing through the Sandwell Charter Mark process. The Sandwell Wellbeing Charter Mark was originally developed in Sandwell in 2015 and explores social, emotional, and mental health through a whole-school approach which aims to recognise a school’s commitment towards improving the social, emotional, and mental health of its staff and families.
Collecting the authentic voice of the whole school community is important to this project and we invite you to share your views via an anonymous online survey. Please use the below link to access the survey, which should take around 15-20 minutes to complete.

Once we have collected the views of pupils, parents/carers and staff, they will be analysed, written into a report and fed back to the school where we will work collaboratively to address any areas for development. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Kind Regards,
Lara Amos-Earle
Assistant Educational Psychologist
This will be taking place in our NJS school hall on Thursday at 3.30pm. Please make your way to the hall following collection of your child.
Do you have any colourful fabric lying around, not being used?
Mrs Jones would be grateful of any donations of colourful, rainforest inspired fabric so she and the children can make some Rainforest Art.
Please ask about via friends and family of NJS and send into school FAO Mrs Jones if you do!!
Many thanks for your support!
If any children have borrowed swimming caps from NJS and accidentally brought them home please could they be returned?
We like to keep some spares in case anyone forgets but unfortunately some have gone missing.
Thank you for your help!
Mrs M
