What a day we have had so far! We’ve had the full experience from tasting flapjacks to finally making our own in small groups.

I think you will see just how excited the children were about the task!

PARTY IN THE PARK CANCELLATION

It is with great regret that we have had to take the decision to cancel the Party In The Park tonight due to a thunderstorm warning being issued. This means that the PA system and stage cannot be used as they both pose a risk to the children in the event of lightning.

I know that this is very disappointing and many picnics will already have been made but we have to make the right decision for the safety of the children.

Mrs Moody and I will consider what we can do to try to organise something before the end of term and we will report to you by the end of tomorrow.

Apologies for the late notice; we have postponed our final decision as long as possible in the hope that the warning would be lifted.

PARTY IN THE PARK: CANCELLED

We have unfortunately had to cancel Party in the Park due to the weather forecast and potential thunderstorms.

Reminder for Crucial Crew 11.07.19

Reminder that Y6 have Crucial Crew tomorrow. Children need to be in full school uniform – green jumpers and cardigans. They need to wear sensible shoes and a raincoat may be required. The only thing children need to bring is a packed lunch.

There are still some outstanding slips. We cannot take children without parental permission so please return slips tomorrow morning.

Reminder about t-shirts

Just a reminder that all Year 6 children need to bring a plain white t-shirt tomorrow to make tie-dye t-shirts.
