5H class assembly on Friday

A reminder to parents/carers of children in 5H that it is our class assembly on Friday this week (15th) starting at 3 o’clock. Everyone is welcome.

Talented artist Harriet Sullivan has been bringing our motto and values to life on our newly decorated hall walls. It looks great; what a super environment for our children.

Yr6 spellings due 13th November

To support with understanding definitions for spellings, the ‘Collins children’s cobuild dictionary’ is a very useful tool.

Due to the changes in the Literacy curriculum children in Year 6 are expected to be secure with all KS2 spellings. There will be no choice of spellings, in terms of degree of difficulty. All children, of all abilities, need to learn the following for next week:

medicine possess
special though
weight earth
famous length
surprise ordinary

Manor Adventure

Parents are reminded that the next payment – following the payment schedule – is now due.

We have had a waiting list for children wanting to attend Manor Adventure, but I am pleased to say I have spoken to the centre and they have been able to accommodate the extra children.

However, an unexpected place has been made available today – if you would like to take up this option – please get in touch with me. this will be on a first come first served basis – as I am unable to increase the numbers again!
